What is a Hub?
A hub is a component that is usually found on the wheels of vehicles and allows the wheel to rotate smoothly. Technically, a hub (or bearing) is a component that separates two rotating parts from each other and allows these parts to rotate without rubbing against each other.
Hubs, especially in heavy vehicles, increase the performance and safety of the vehicle by ensuring that the wheels rotate smoothly. These components are placed in the bearings of the wheels and minimize friction, allowing the wheels to operate smoothly for longer periods of time.
As hubs wear out or fail over time, the driving safety of the vehicle can be compromised, which is why regular maintenance and inspection are very important.
